The Fondazione Biesse intends upgrading technical-scientific cooperation with the Department of Engineering of Ancona University and the Department of Economics of Urbino University by promoting and developing programmes and initiatives keyed to studying and making known the conditions on which progress in the Marche Region depends in the economic, scientific, social and cultural fields.

The Fondazione Biesse - with the collaboration of the Department of Engineering of Ancona University and the Department of Economics of Urbino University - will award two scholarships to mechanical engineering undergraduates and another to an economics undergraduate specialising in marketing. The scholarships are intended for students that wish to focus their degree theses on studies relating to activities concerning the specific sector of machinery and tools for working wood, glass and marble and on promotional and marketing activities in the same sector.

More specifically, the Fondazione Biesse will fund scholarships and provide grants to engineering and/or economics undergraduates to ensure they are able to obtain adequate professional training, consistent with institutional aims, and will implement all the instrumental activities necessary or useful to pursue the primary aim of the Biesse Group of Companies, which is to provide quality for the purpose of adequately answering the numerous production problems of customers and assuring them in terms of reliability and profitability.
